Our privacy policy
Planetary Research is a free-to-publish, free-to-read, peer-reviewed journal for the field of planetary science. It does not seek to profit financially from academic publishing in any form, which includes advertising or selling personal data.
The Planetary Research reviewer expertise database will store a user's ORCID iD, their full name, and the public email address that is on their ORCID profile. We will further store any information input to our site regarding the user's scientific expertise or changes to their email address. This information is accessible only by the journal's editors and administrators and will never be shared with other parties. Users can choose to delete their account at any time, upon which all personal information will be removed from our database.
When a user logs in, a session is created and stored in a cookie. This cookie is used only to identify the user and to enable the basic website functionalities. This cookie will be automatically removed when the user logs out, or after a predefined period of time.
